Rick Shepard, Bargersville, IN with Rush

1/3/2012 Rush made a nice retreive across a short spance of water and into a harvested crop field to retreive him....returned via the water and delivered to hand....he is quite the machine. I guess him to be 70 maybe 75 pounds, Gorgous head and just a big sweet dying to please kid. Rick

May 2011 Dale: Thought I would update you on Rush. Thriving and absolutely handsome. Sleeping free in my room on his big camo pillow. I can't take him anyplace that people don't stare and want to hug and pet him and he loves it. He has a little pea thing he does with new people he meets it will pass and they don't mind. I'm going to guess him to be 55 pounds that maybe a little much, but not by much. Loves the water. I take him to Camp Atterbury where there are numerous stands of open water......he swims like a fish. Retreiving like a champ with great use of nose for a 6mos old kid. Will forward a pic soon. He is the best. Loves to have something in his mouth at all times to carry around..most recently a big stump. He loves it. Thanks again for a great dog. Rick

1/25/11 Dale: Do you ever tire of getting emails from satisfied owners of your pups? Well Rush has one more class and will complete Kindergarten....what a hit he is. Everyone loves him, he gets more attention on Monday nights from owners of other dogs in the class. They love his rambunctious, but loving style and his absolute fearlessness in trying anything in class. He is always the facilitators helper as she knows he will make her look good when trying new things. Rush is the best and is so handsome. Rick

1/4/11 Dale: Just a update on my big boy Rush. He is thriving and growing right in front of my eyes. Rush is great, loving his farm, friends and of course plenty of food and loving. I will forward pictures soon. Say Dale if any owners of littermates are close please share my email address with them. They are all welcome to visit my farm for long walks in the woods and play time with Rush. Thanks again. Good luck with your upcoming litter. Rick

12/24/10 Dale, Home safe and sound took rush for a short tour of his farm. He loves the snow. Have a fire in my fireplace he is napping on a shearling hide in front of the fire. All is well. Thanks for bringing Rush to me. Merry Christmas. Rick

Matt & Linda Cunningham, Ashaway, RI, with Cosmo

Merry Christmas Dale! Just wanted you to know that Cosmo had a fabulous day. He's adjusted to his new environment far better than I imagined. He's pottying where we set up the pads for him and is eating/ sleeping regularly. And playing too! He is so sweet and smart and has really bonded well with Jesse in the short time they've been together. We all love him so much already. Thank you for choosing us to be his new family. We feel truly blessed. I hope you've had a lovely day. Linda

The Goris Family, Lafayette, In with Orange collar girl.

3//12/11 Hi Dale,  Mia, (Orange Girl) is developing beautifully. She bonded with the 4 yr old yellow male instantly. Although I think she drives him crazy at times wanting to play, they have become best buds. She is very easy to train. Already understands the Invisible Fence perimeter and minds well. She has had all her shots and has been spayed. Weighing in at 36lbs. Beautiful coat, wonderful pup! Thanks.Jack GorisLafayette=

Karsyn - owned by Jeff Owens, Indianapolis Fire Department, IN

May 3, 2011

Today is a very sad day at Black Rock, one of the sweetest girls, named Karsyn, passed away on the operating table, while being spayed.

My Deepest Sympathy goes out to Jeff and India Owens and the Koorsen "Kasey Program."

To Jeff and India,

As the breeder of your angel and my baby from birth. She was the only black female of the entire litter, but she was so loving, boldest and sweetest girl! She was one in a million send especially to your both for 4 precious months on this earth. She is going to be in our hearts forever! She is going to touch many children even though she is not her physically, but in spirit to share with the kids (through the Kasey Program) of her story and how life is soooo fragile, here today and gone tomorrow. I know you both cared and loved her beyond measure. Life does not seem fair at times, but it rains on the just and the unjust alike. I pray for sweet peace for your family and our sweet Angel sent from above.

Dale Brummett, blackrocklabs.
