Belize X Bravo Litter

Update: Rocket has a new home: The Bennett Family.

Rocket at 8 weeks Rocket loves baths in the bathtub! I've never seen a dog love water and mud and much as much as he does! He's a true lab. Everything's an adventure and he's quite brave in meeting new people and animals. One of our vets thinks he's the perfect looking lab puppy. She adores him. We started puppy classes at First Friends-Fishers, IN. Rocket goes to school for the first time this Saturday (Nov. 23). He's a lot of fun, and he's growing so fast (about 22-25 pounds - we haven't weighed him in a few weeks). There have been days when we come home from work and his legs are longer. We wake up and his head is bigger. He's beautiful. He chased his first rabbit last night in our backyard and had a blast. The rabbit barely escaped under our gate. He loves to learn new things, and I think he'll love agility training once he learns obedience. I know he loves clicker training!

Bomber at 9 months retrieving. Black Rock Bomber

Dale and Linda,I just thought I would drop you a picture of Bombay (Sophie) so you can see how she has grown. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. Thanks again for such a great dog. Sincerely, Jeff Tucker Shelton Machinery Inc.

Black Rock Bombay  Bombay is doing great. She is truly an amazing dog. She has been very easy to house break and crate train. Also, she is obedience school at First Friends K-9 and is doing very well. She has mastered the first three lessons with no effort at all. She continues to make friends wherever she goes and with whoever she meets. My in-laws love her and my parents came to spend the weekend with us and my dad inquired as to if you had any more puppies. (I informed him it would be fall until you had any more). Our neighbors kept her while we were gone and they absolutely adore her. They lost their Golden Retriever last year and were also going to wait for awhile before getting another puppy. Bombay definitely weakened their stance and has them thinking about another dog soon. Even at obedience school people come up and ask how old she is and are astonished at how calm she is. We are extremely happy with her and she has become an integral part of the family. Cole (our oldest) loves to take her out in the back lawn and play. They especially love to play in the snow together. Snow seems to be the one thing that really gets Bombay excited. After about a week of not being quite sure what to think of her, Blake (our one year old), now seeks her out and laughs at her. He likes to pet her and she in turn gives him several kisses. Blake's main complaint seems to be that Bombay takes his pacifier. Although even that has become all right with him. He lets her have one and he comes and gets another one. Thanks again for Bombay. We enjoy her immensely. We will email some pictures soon so you can see how she is growing. Jeff Tucker.

P.S. - One more bit of praise came from our Vet. I took Bombay in to meet him and his staff and he went through the folder you included. He was amazed at how well documented everything was and said he wished more breeders cared the way that you do. One of the girls could not get over Bombay and wrote your information down. She said she wanted to recommend you whenever anyone inquired about Labradors. They loved our last Lab very much and said we could never replace her but Bombay moved right in and melted them in an instant.

Dale and Linda,  I just wanted to drop you a quick note and some pictures of Bombay. (We call her Sophie as that is what our oldest son named her). She is the most lovable and docile Lab I have ever been around. She continues to make new friends wherever she goes and because of her demeanor, she gets to go almost everywhere with us. We are currently planning what to do on her birthday as she will be one year old in just over a week. Thanks again for such a great dog. Sincerely,  Jeff Tucker  Shelton Machinery Inc.

P.S. - I cut through Kirklin on my way back from Logansport one day and saw a bunch of your dogs out playing. If I wouldn't have been running late, I would have loved to stop by and see how Bravo, Boomer and the rest of your dogs were doing.

Beretta: 9/3/03 Took this tonight, though you’d like to see it~  Take Care, Stacy

Black Rock Beretta@ Huntmor Labrador Retrievers -12 Weeks old - Owned by Stacy and Tom Quake - Michigan.

8/4/03 Hi there, Thought you would like to know Beretta took RWB at Marshall this weekend, judges comments were “You have a very nice puppy, I can’t wait to see her grow up” . She also took 3rd in her class at NE Ohio LRC on Sunday (yes, I was all over the country this weekend). So we are quite proud. Take Care, Stacy

Nancy and I thought you would love this photo: otterlions. Otter is doing so well. The lions think she's a morsel and they want her and she thinks they are big dogs so she chases them. We have to keep her on a lead when she's around them because she will go right up to the fence and they could claw her if she got her nose too close! She knows sit, down, stay and is such an eager little dog. I will send some better photos of her soon but thought you'd like the lions. We joined an obedience, agility club here in New Orleans where the dogs go through all levels starting at puppy classes. So she's attending her first puppy classes and they have been great for socializing her. She just wants to romp with the other puppies but that's OK with us. She's turning into a beautiful young dog, doesn't look so puppy now. I hope her siblings are doing well. More photos later. Betsy

Otter OtterNancy at 9 weeks old & Nancy Walters - New Orleans, LA.  2/17/03 Otter is doing great in her obedience training and got an informal best puppy award in the puppy obedience class! I know that all of your dogs are special but we think this one is very special!! Hope all of your litters are well and we keep up with your website. Betsy

Buoy at 8 weeks owned by the Rosenthal family

Linda and Dale - We just thought we would give you an update on Buoy. She is an adorable puppy and really quite smart and fearless. We have introduced her to most of our family and tons of our friends. We went to our first puppy kindergarten class last week. Although Buoy was the youngest of the larger dogs she was the most social and fearless. Buoy had free play time with two Golden Retrievers and a Black Lab. All the others were older and bigger but the trainers named Buoy the "Social Director". She loves people and loves to take walks and play but she likes to chill out and snuggle too! She is getting the hang of going to the door to let us know she needs out and is doing great with the crate. She will already sit with just a hand command for a treat or a toy and is beginning to get down too! We know she is still a puppy and we have a long way to go but we can see that she has wonderful qualities that have already made her a part of our family! Thanks for picking out our puppy! Take care - Judy Rosenthal

7/12/03 Dear Dale and Linda - We just wanted to let you know how wonderful Buoy is and how much we love having her in our family. She has been a joy and a treat every day. The boys adore her, we have had very few problems (even with chewing...but we buy her lots of toys!), She has mastered some commands and several tricks.  For an 11 month old puppy she is awesome. We will send a picture of her soon. She is beautiful...not too big only around 55 pounds. She loves people and other dogs, does great in her crate and greets us with genuine affection every day! Thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family. Chris and Judy Rosenthal  Naperville, IL

Dear Dale & Linda,  This year has been an exciting one for us and our bodies.  We were married in July in Key West and Taylor and Riley  served as our ring bearers.

3/9/03 Dale and Linda,   I have attached recent photos of Taylor and Riley. They are doing great, and have become best friends. I am so glad that I decided to get a buddy for Taylor. They are very active together and swim almost every day. Recently, we took them to a charity dog walk for the Humane Society, and they received so much attention and complements. Also, Taylor received 4th place in a very informal talent competition. Riley is learning various tricks of her own by watching Taylor. Thank you for breeding such beautiful labs for everyone to enjoy. Thanks,Chris Cullen and Jeannie Brown, Ft. Lauderdale , Florida

Riley at 8 weeks - owned by Christopher Cullen - Plantation, Florida

TerryCoraJosh Cora at 7 weeks - owned by Terry & Josh Moody of 4-Season Farms - Greentown, IN.

12/03/02  Well, Ms. Cora made her "public debut" last night a caused quite a stir. Steve said "You've got yourself a great little show puppy there." I would bate her to where he could see her front and her expression. He said "You're right to show me her front. She's very nice. She's going to be a nice show dog." He said she really moves well too. You guys, she just goes in there and says "OK! I'm here! Look at me! I'm worth it!" She didn't tire the whole two hours. She free bates beautifully. Gating her is funny and stacking is taking a little work.. .but she had a blast! It was really fun. She did, however, think all the dogs should play with her. And boy did they want to. Before long, they all wanted to play...with each other! It was a completely different class last night. It was sooooo fun and lively. I think Cora had a lot to do with it. She's really special. She's going to make you a proud breeder. =)
